We build and operate reliable cloud infrastructure

Let our DevOps-as-a-Service manage your cloud computing platform so you can focus on running your business, building your product, and delighting your customers.

Experienced infrastructure expertise at your service

Engineering a product, providing a service, or delighting a customer with technology all rely on an underlying platform. Whether you call it DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or something else, designing, building, and maintaining modern cloud infrastructure is a complex task. The tools have become more powerful, but also more complex, and small mistakes can have disastrous consequences.

OpsLogic was conceived by an experienced DevOps engineer working with a startup CTO to create a better, more reliable, and affordable way to manage cloud infrastructure. We know how to make platforms agile and reliable, secure and flexible, scalable and cost-efficient, all while leveraging structured processes and ways of working to dramatically reduce risk.

Our clients include internet infrastructure providers, fintechs, medical automation platforms, and social apps. Our clients sleep well at night knowing their platforms are performant, backups are working and validated, they cannot be held hostage by a DevOps engineer who might quit at any moment, and there won’t be any unexpected cloud provider costs or surprise bills.

Read on to see how we work and what our clients have to say.

We love talking DevOps. And we enjoy learning about businesses. Let’s see how we can help.

How we work

Fully Managed DevOps Services

Your own in-house DevOps team, as a Service. We’ll lead your DevOps function with an experienced, right-sized team that’s reliable and efficient to architect, operate, and maintain your infrastructure, whether you’re starting from scratch or have an existing platform.

Our team will work together with yours to deliver against the needs and requirements of your business, introducing best-practices and sharing our recommendations as appropriate. We will bring our own tooling recommendations, process checklists, and suggested ways of working, but we adapt our approach to work with your organization, team, and preferences.

DevOps Augmentation

Whether your backlog is filling up with tasks that never get done or there’s a specific skill set missing from your existing team, we can augment an understaffed dedicated DevOps team, become a dedicated DevOps function to work with other engineers who share product & DevOps engineering responsibilities, or take on a specialist (SME) role dealing with a certain aspect of the platform. We can ensure the non-urgent (but extremely necessary) work gets done to keep things reliable, secure, and fully tested. We can stick around, or come and go as needed.

Some examples of things we help our clients with: regular package updating, complex migrations, containerization or Kubernetes architecture, disaster recovery exercises, Terraform / infrastructure as code setup, cost optimization & resource utilization monitoring, or other chores like log monitoring, key rotation, etc.

Infrastructure & Process Audit

Maintaining proper computing infrastructure is a complex endeavor, spanning many different areas. In a matter of weeks, our team can run your infrastructure against our battle-born checklists, identifying what’s working efficiently and more importantly where more work needs to be done. Audits are an ideal method for executives to understand how to better budget or plan, for engineering teams to learn what has been overlooked, for investors to conduct due-diligence, and for customers to evaluate vendor risk.

The types of things we most often identify are un-managed risks, missing processes or checks, unnecessary spend, and other inefficiencies. These issues can result in serious consequences such as downtime, data loss, security breaches, or even financial loss. We present our findings with thoughtful, realistic, and prioritized recommendations for how to improve.

Early Stage & Ongoing Technical Advisory

In addition to living and breathing technology, we are also experienced entrepreneurs, consultants, and operators. We help early stage entrepreneurs as outsourced CTOs, play the role of tech-translator for non-technical leaders, or add practical experience managing technology, processes, engineers, data, or risk to executive teams, advisory committees, or boards.

What our clients say

“OpsLogic has been instrumental in the growth of my company, seamlessly transforming our traditional infrastructure into a modern and reliable Infrastructure-as-a-Service setup within budget and without disturbing any of our customers who use our services 24/7. The trust and faith I have in the OpsLogic team allows me to sleep well at night, knowing I have best in class resources overseeing and monitoring my operations and infrastructure.”

Cliff Seltzer
President & Co-Founder, Puresend

“OpsLogic took over the management of our cloud platform and now, it just runs. They have transformed it to be easier to maintain and reduced costs across our infrastructure. They collaborate well with our development team, introduce innovations and new technologies as necessary, and when troubleshooting issues, fix them so they don’t happen again. All of this ultimately helps us have a better product. I don’t have to worry every time we have a release. I don’t worry that we won’t be able to restore if there’s a problem. I now rest easy at night.

Lawson Boothe
Co-Founder & COO, Vital Interaction

“As a former political organizer and an educator with backgrounds in the social impact space, we founded our company because we were passionate about increasing civic engagement. However, we did not have technical backgrounds. For founders in our shoes who are building a new product from scratch, you often don't even know where to start. So it was important for us to not just find a reliable and skilled team but one that could provide on-call CTO advice and tech-speak translation. The OpsLogic team has guided us through evaluating and selecting product engineers, as well as building our cloud computing environment. They also join us on calls with partners or customers to help represent our company. Most importantly, they not only provide answers but explain the what and why of their reasoning. I’d recommend them to any non-technical founding team.
